Hello! My name is Charlotte Wilson and I am a senior and one of the co-editors-in-chief for the Credo column. I first joined the Credo Column in freshman year (2023), and I'm so honored to have the full circle moment of helping to run it! Writing has taken me everywhere from Kenyon College to Stanford, and has opened so many doors for me as a creative being. In my everyday life, I enjoy reading, watching rom-coms and slashers, volunteering as a barista, writing short stories and poems, and traveling. I also really, really love to talk with people! Please ambush me with your thoughts on writing, philosophy, politics, and psychology.

My name is Nahara Goodman, and I’m a senior at Credo High School and the co-editor for the Credo Column.  I am so lucky to have the pleasure of running the Credo Column this year. Writing has always been a passion of mine. I love using it as a way to share stories and ideas with others, as well as just a way to express myself. Writing has taken me so far, whether that is with my own well-being or the opportunities writing creates for me. Outside of writing, I enjoy reading, spending time with friends and family, and finding new hobbies to occupy my time.

My name is Emily Bottini and I am the head layout designer for the Credo Column. I joined the Credo Column as a freshman and enjoy being a part of this club. Outside of school I enjoy playing soccer, D&D, and doing fiber arts.

My name is Jada Blank and this is my first year being a part of the Credo Column. I enjoy taking photos (especially of nature and animals), writing, and listening to people’s stories. I play the cello and I am in a youth orchestra outside of school. I like basketball and running, as well as music, baking, and hiking to lakes or just spending time outdoors. 

My name is Leila Sherman, and I am delighted to be a member of the Credo Column. I am in tenth grade, and my first year working on the newspaper. I have loved writing since I was young, and I am constantly looking for ways to improve in it. Outside the newspaper I enjoy reading, writing, doing parkour, and playing with my dog. I also play cello both in and out of school.

Hi! My name is Ellie Gimzek and I am a freshman at Credo. I feel gifted to have the opportunity to be a part of the Credo Column and can’t wait to participate. Throughout my childhood, I adored writing and discovering the world through creativity. Coming from a family of artists and poets, I see writing as not only an outlet of expression but as a way to find your place, no matter how complicated things might appear to be. Other than writing, I love to read, paint, and ride horses. 

My name is Aster, and I’m a writer for the Credo Column. I’ve been writing for fun since fourth grade. Horror is my favorite genre of both movies and books, especially when there’s some psychological elements. I also enjoy playing D&D, painting, and reading. I have two cats named Edgar and Bean, as well as a bird named Loki.

My name is Nova Hollinger and I am new to the Credo Column. I have been writing conventionally for quite some time now, but joined the Credo Column to broaden my creativity. I love poetry, movies, finding new cafes, and kickboxing. In addition, I have a passion for social justice and equality.   

Hello! My name is Lila Dusterhoff, and I am a Sophomore at Credo. My interest in journalism started at the age of eight when I co-created a  small neighborhood newspaper with my best friend. In my free time, you can find me taking photos, hiking in the mountains, quoting Calvin and Hobbes, playing sports, pondering strange hypotheticals and deep philosophical questions.

Hello! My name is Mila Wallace and I am a freshman here at Credo. I am honored to be given a chance to participate in the Column this year. I began writing in the first week of fourth grade for a short story assignment. I soon fell in love with the characters I had created and realized that I really liked writing. Aside from writing I enjoy hanging out with my friends, family, and dog, spending time in nature, swimming, and playing lacrosse. 

Hi, I’m Cherub! I love playing music, doing art, and skateboarding. I’ve been writing and reading since the day I learned how. In about 3rd grade, I was so bored staying at home all day and doing nothing with my time, so I decided to start writing a book and It was one of my favorite ways to spend my free time! Some fun facts about me are: I’m double jointed, I love working with animals, and I love photography.

My love for writing really started in 3rd grade during COVID when there was nothing to do but to sit and read or write. Other than writing, I love theatre, listening to music and hanging out with my friends.
